Though she had unrivaled power, the kingdom was in peril thanks to the treacherous Demon King. The kingdom's court magicians were desperate for a hero and performed a summoning ritual, conjuring a boy and girl. Although the girl was willing to help, the young man protested and demanded to return to his own world. The kingdom was outraged by his defiance and imprisoned him, but Felmenia was intrigued and curious to discover more about him. Her usual white flame magic was powerless against him, which only piqued her interest further. When questioned about his identity, he simply replied, "I am Yakagi Suimei, a magician." It was evident he possessed far greater power than Felmenia had ever imagined.
