Ai's fondness for adorable items and chocolates paled in comparison to her admiration for her senpai, the son of a renowned actress and a man adored by many women. Ai believed that she was undeserving of him, making her hesitant to confess her feelings. In an effort to come up with a plan to confess, Ai's aunt assigned her to tutor her young cousin, Nekota. Despite being a fifth-grader, Nekota had developed feelings for Ai after she had escorted him to the hospital during his fever the previous year. Nekota vowed to win Ai's love, as he refused to let anyone else have her. Though she initially regarded Nekota's proclamation as unrealistic, Ai eventually found herself falling for the younger boy.
